Tim Cummins

Tim Cummins is a Grammy-nominated multi-instrumentalist, performer, composer,
and educator. Cummins graduated from California State University Long Beach with his BM in
Jazz Studies with an emphasis on saxophone performance. While at CSULB, he studied under
musicians such as Jay Mason, Jeff Jarvis, Ray Briggs, and Alexander Elliot-Miller.
Additionally, he has performed and/or recorded with many groups throughout Southern
California such as Twin Temple, CALONCHO, Midnight Faces, Lionel Boy, Afro-Peruvian
Jazz Orchestra, Eric Roebuck, Hanni El-Khatib, Igor Kogan’s Big Band, Chicano Batman,
Chola Orange, The Love Trio, The Geo Valle Big Band, Cali Conscious, The Wine Ladies,
Discount Art, CSULB Concert Jazz Orchestra, The CSULB Laptop Ensemble, and more
throughout the United States and Canada
